Social media: brand

This blog post is part of an overall social media assessment – the main post (Social media: relational experimentation) is here. This section discusses the brands that I’ve adopted as part of my overall social media strategy.

The main thrust of the ‘brand’ is the blog title ‘Experiment, Experience, Explore and Engage’: it covers all the aspects of science that I find fascinating and want to communicate. As highlighted in the ‘Social media: connection’ blog post I think science has lost it’s exploration and experience, both of these are are costly and risky attributes, but this is what makes science attractive. Science needs to moves beyond the machine and the mechanism to the original and the organic: the blog title reflects this.

As part of a uniform image branding the profile and header images are common to the wordpress, facebook and twitter accounts.
