Strathclyde Uni’s Images of Research is now in its third year and goes from strength to strength. Monday evening’s reception was packed. And mostly with my colleagues from SIPBS since 1/3rd of the entries in the competition are from here!
Compared to last year the number of entries is slightly down, but this means that the gallery space is less crowded and nicely laid out. This year’s entries are excellent. So good – in my opinion – that my own ‘QR&D’ image comes down the pecking order: the idea of manipulating an image to convey more that one idea has been done better by other entrants.
